*If you read my article last night (or early this morning), you’ll know this is the sequel in the trilogy. Here’s where you can check out Part 1.

So that was -probably- the final Nintendo Direct of 2023. I quite enjoyed it and actually, there were some interesting announcements like the Nintendo Museum that were really neat. Personally, I rank it a “B.” From Princess Peach: Showtime! to F-Zero99; Let’s find the correlations as to why, -astrologically- the games that we saw made it in the presentation.

Let’s get the logistics out of the way:

Here is the official chart for the Nintendo Direct I’ll be referring to throughout the article —

The most important things to take note of as you read are the sun (☉) at 21 degrees in Virgo, the moon (☽) at 16 degrees in Virgo, the rising (or AC/Ascendant) at 23 degrees in Virgo (the ascendant being the presentation as a whole and the unfolding of the Direct from the moment it started.) Lastly, the ruler of the sun, moon and rising which is Mercury (☿) at 8 degrees in Virgo, retrograde.
Got it?
Good.
Quick disclaimer — If you read Part One, you already know I predicted that we would see “remake” this and “remaster” that due to the event taking place during a retrograde.

3. Finally, this is by no means an exhaustive list, just the things I thought were the most relevant, and cosmically interesting in its cycles. (Also this sh*t takes a lot of TIME, so if you learn something, you’re welcome)

Alright. let’s not waste any more of your eye muscles and go through all of the major announcements from today’s Nintendo Direct proving once again why, Astrology is just stupid OP, and permeates every area of life:

My FAAFO Predictions

Let’s start with my “f-around and find out” predictions.

Technically, they weren’t really my predictions. They were more just me weighing in on what the internet was murmuring about. We did get Donkey Kong… but in the form of Mario vs. Donkey Kong Remake which I didn’t check that specific game’s astrology, so here it is —

So why was this game in the Direct? The Ascendant is in 21 degrees Leo Nirvanhai. Yeah, but Leo is ruled by the Sun. The Sun in this game’s chart is in 3 degrees Gemini, a sign ruled by Mercury. When you look at where Mercury is, it’s in 10 degrees Taurus conjunct the MC up in the top of the chart. The MC is a point in the chart that speaks where and how someone or something or publically recognized. Mercury conjunct the MC makes Mario vs. Donkey Kong a game that’s recognized as “mercurial.” It makes perfect sense because it’s a puzzle game and like I said Mercury rules all games, including puzzles. Right now, Jupiter is in Taurus at 15 degrees retrograde and Jupiter brings abundance. In retrograde, it’s abundance from things of the past. So as we speak Jupiter is moving backward about to conjunct the Mercury, then, once it goes direct (no pun intended) it will finish out the cycle and conjunct the MC. The success of the game however really depends on the February 16th launch chart, but that’s a whole other discussion.

**Mario vs. Donkey Kong launches on February 16, 2024**

F-Zero 99 ~Switch Online Exclusive~
Last night I took a look at F-Zero GX and completely disregarded the first game which often has the energetic prominence. The inaugural chart will always be superior, in most cases anyway. The chart of the first game in a game series can’t often override any of its future sequels because essentially, it all would have been “destined” if you will, in that first chart. When we zero in on F-Zero’s chart, it’s all right there with a sun in Virgo. F-Zero is pretty interesting in that there are 2 charts — a Japanese release and a North American release.

Mercury rules twins or twinning energy. You got 2 in the “9s” in the title. What’s even more fascinating about F-Zero is the duality and polarity in the releases. In this North American release, the Ascendant is in Scorpio, ruled by Pluto, which I spoke about in my first article being the planet of extremity and polarity. It’s pretty extreme to have 99 players in one play session. A year prior in 1990, when it was released in Japan, the Sun was in Scorpio. Scorpio has two (dual/mercury energy) planetary rulers Pluto & Mars. Mars in F-Zero’s Japanese chart just so happened to be in Gemini, ruled by Mercury. And to top it all off where was Mercury? In the sign of Sagittarius, the opposite sign of Gemini (again a theme of duality) in the 15th degree (the degree of Gemini) If I lost you, I digress: F-Zero has a 0 degree Virgo Sun conjunct the Nintendo Direct’s 8 Degree Mercury retrograde and it’s available now if you’re a Switch Online Member. *smiles*

Metroid: M.I.A.
Well, I’m not too surprised Metroid wasn’t at the direct. If I’m being honest, looking at this chart here, the cycle in its astrology alone wasn’t strong enough. (Though, my symbolism theories and as to why they should’ve done it made so much sense.) I probably couldn’t have been objective even if I tried due to the fact that the game was launched on my bday so we have a Sun conjunction. In other words was pretty much blinded. This explains why I may have been a late adopter of Echoes when I was a kid. Maybe next Direct or The Game Awards?

Next, let’s talk about one of my favourite announcements, the Nintendo Museum.

Nintendo announced that it will be opening its doors in Kyoto, in March 2024. Interestingly enough, this might make it into Pisces season. Pisces, ruled by Neptune, is the planet that signifies art, photography, and film. Right now Saturn in the sky is in the sign of Pisces in a gorgeous trine to the Mercury of the Direct. Mercury at its most basic and primitive functionality is the sharing of messages and information so I get why they would announce this. I just can’t help but wonder if things will go as planned because Mercury was still technically retrograde (yes, in good condition but still…) Also, Neptune the ruler of Saturn in Pisces was in opposition to the Sun Moon & Rising of the Direct. It’ll be interesting to see how it unfolds next year.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door HD. Chile…Really? F- YEAH!

Remember my theory of duality with Mercury & Metroid. I was actually on the money, but not about Metroid… for Mario. I thought that Super Mario RPG Remake would be the only RPG Mario we would get, but they pulled Paper Mario: TTYD on us. AND I’M SO HAPPY THAT THEY DID. Looking back, I should’ve known as much. The Mario series is ultimately ruled by Mercury & Jupiter. (Which could be said for why everyone and their Momma loves Mario.) Back in 1985, the Sun was in the sign of Virgo *I mean Duh Nirvanhai* and the AC in the sign of Sagittarius.

Most obviously, today is September 14th, meaning that yesterday the entire Mario series just had a Solar Return. It would be interesting to dive into what the next year of Mario looks like based on its Solar Return cycle that just started yesterday, but let’s keep it light for you guys. — Let me know if you’d like to see a breakdown of that though — Anyway, I am a huge fan of this specific game. I mean just look at its astrology.

It’s something about that 29 Degrees Cancer Sun that really speaks to my Scorpio Sun

Paper Mario is first and foremost an RPG. The Ascendant in Libra is ruled by Venus. Venus just so happens to be in 17 degrees Gemini, say it with me “Ruled by Mercury.” And this is just the Japanese chart. I’m starting to think Nintendo has an astrologer because of all the strategic release schedules. I didn’t even look at the North American chart which at a glance takes place during Libra season. See what I mean?
The MC here is in Cancer, a sign known for its depth, emotion and roots (Mario lore) By the way, I noted some super interesting observations about Cancer energy in the Mario series in my article on the Mario Movie. Cancer is ruled by the moon and the moon happens to be in Virgo. Ready? Say it with me: “Ruled by Mercury.”
But, it’s also conjunct with the ruler of the Mario series: Jupiter. This Direct supercharged everything mercurial as I explained in Part 1. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door releases sometime in 2024. (Nintendo, if you need a specific date, holla at me!)
